Papermaking and the Filagree Path
I know the whole family, Mira, Rachel, and you, Felicia. I walked in on your mom and Rachel the day they were sending out notices about Mira’s passing. I would drop in without notice…and always was welcomed by your folks. There were always people coming in and out…zucchini bread freshly baked…art projects like dyeing with garbage and mushrooms. One time your mom taught my kid, Conor, how to make paper out of banana peels and stuff. And she was quite a story teller…she would lead you down a filigree path…with so many twists and turns that I’d forget what it was we were talking about…buttttt she didn’t…and she would swing back to finish the story and remind you why we took this journey 😅 .
