The light of their day to day lives

I just poked through the beautiful website you created for your parents. Wow! Such body of work plus raising three children! They were so down to earth and present. I had no idea that I was in the presence of such greatness and erudition as we talked about this and that together. They were loath to toot their own horns, perhaps to a fault.

In retrospect, I think that the light they brought into the world through their day to day lives, their friendships, their teaching jobs is as important as their many accomplishments. They are deeply a part of my growing and learning.
